USER MANUAL

Complete RouteNex User Guide

Mastering provider configuration, virtual keys, and traffic monitoring.

Virtual Access Keys (Local BYOK)

RouteNex isolates client traffic through Virtual Keys (rn_live_...). These keys are stored on disk as SHA-256 hashes, with configurable RPM rate limits, daily USD spend caps, and model allowlists.

2. Click "+ Create Virtual Key"
3. Assign an RPM limit and allowed model slugs

Provider Pooling (Multiply Rate Limits)

By connecting multiple free keys for Groq, Cerebras, or Mistral, RouteNex automatically pools them via round-robin or headroom distribution, multiplying your effective throughput limit without billing upgrades.
